Ad guru goes on the offensive against sugary beverages

Everyone knows that soda and other sugary beverages are bad for your teeth and for your health. But now a new anti-soda TV ad from ad agency Bogusky is really laying out all the reasons to avoid drinking soda.

Have a look at the ad: it uses animated bears to mock Coca Cola’s advertising and a song from Jason Mraz to help hammer the point home.

As you can see, along with promoting tooth decay, sugary beverages can also lead to a variety of other health problems, including childhood obesity, diabetes and more.

We know that it’s hard to avoid something completely, and we aren’t going to say that you should completely avoid eating and drinking any sugar for the rest of your life.

Even so, the statistics in this video are pretty staggering, and factual. So next time you think about getting a large soda to go along with your healthy salad, maybe try an ice cold water instead.
